Cassie Bair, Mobile Citizen chief business development executive, is scheduled to appear on a panel at this year’s National Digital Inclusion Alliance (NDIA) Net Inclusion conference on Wednesday, May 17. The panel is titled Community network user metrics: What some community providers are learning from the people they serve. It is being moderated by Connect Your Community’s Samantha Schartman-Cucyk. Jo Ana Alvarado from the San Antonio Housing Authority and Rick Deane from Connecting for Good will join Cassie on the panel.
Net Inclusion 2017 welcomes digital inclusion community practitioners, advocates, academics, internet service providers, policymakers and entities reliant upon online access and digital skills of their clients/users. Participants will discuss current and potential local, state and federal policies and policy innovations that could increase digital equity, current and potential sources of financial and programmatic support of digital inclusion programs, and share digital inclusion best practices and new strategies from across the country. This year’s conference is hosted by the St. Paul Public Library from May 16-17. As a strong supporter of digital inclusion, Mobile Citizen is excited to be a part of this important event.
