Sprint is shutting down the WiMax Network on Nov. 6 (that’s in 17 days!) and will disconnect large numbers of our customers. Many of them are not in a position to obtain Internet service otherwise. Today, we feature Explore Knowledge Academy’s story.

Explore Knowledge Academy is a K-10 charter school in Las Vegas. The school’s curriculum is built around a 1:1 computer program made possible by unlimited Internet access provided by Mobile Citizen. Losing this access would critically impact the school’s curriculum, according to Education Technology Administrator Nathan Bolton.

“Simply put, without unlimited high-speed broadband, our educational program would be useless,” Bolton said.
